Lanteris Space Systems was formerly known as Maxar Space Systems/Space Systems/Loral, when Maxar Technologies unveiled its new identitiy in October 2017. 

The company was a major American aerospace company headquartered in Houston, Texas, with significant facilities in Palo Alto, California. 

The Maxar name disappereared from the space industry as two successor companies emerged; Maxar Intelligence became Vantor and Maxar Space Systems was renamed Lanteris Space Systems.
