Skybrokers de-installs three Andrew 3.7m antennas at NCR in Berlin Germany
A challenging project in Berlin! Our team de-installed three Andrew 3.7m antennas from a 6-story building in Berlin, Germany. We had to arrange a large tower crane to be able to reach the far edges of the roof. Dismantling of the antennas could be done on the parking lot and we used a dedicated flatbed trailer for transportation to our facility for refurbishment. The project was successfully executed in April 2013.
NCR (National Cash Register) was an American company specializing in software, consulting, and technology services, offering various professional services and electronic products. Its product line included self-service kiosks, point-of-sale terminals, automated teller machines, check processing systems, and barcode scanners. Founded in Dayton, Ohio, in 1884, NCR was acquired by AT&T in 1991. Following a restructuring of AT&T in 1996, NCR was re-established as a separate entity in January 1997, which also involved spinning off Lucent Technologies from AT&T. In June 2009, NCR sold most of its Dayton properties and relocated its headquarters to Atlanta, USA. In October 2023, NCR Corporation split into two independent public companies: NCR Voyix and NCR Atleos, the latter focusing on the ATM business.
