Skybrokers provided an used Andrew 3.7m Satellite Antennas to FreeSat in Colombo, Sri Lanka
Skybrokers delivered another pre-owned Andrew 3.7m Satellite Antennas to Satellite Broadcaster FreeSat in Sri Lanka. The antenna was packed and loaded at our facility in The Netherlands and shipped in a 20-foot container for overseas transportation in December 2024. The customer was responsible for the installation of the antenna at the Liberty Range Teleport (LRT) in Colombo. Many thanks to Hiran Jaliya and his team for the smooth installation!
FreeSat is a Digital Satellite Television Broadcasting Service licensed by the Ministry of Mass Media and Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka. It is owned by Union Network International Pvt Ltd. The company will provide the long-awaited Digital Television to every household in Sri Lanka at no cost, utilizing the latest DVB-S2 technology thru the SES-12 satellite at 95° East.
