Company History
Founded in 2017 by Michael Johnson and Chad Brinkley, SEOPS has focused on developing cost-effective launch solutions using existing infrastructure. The company established a strong foundation by providing space access via the International Space Station (ISS) for CubeSat and MicroSat markets.
Strategic Acquisitions and Partnerships
- 2019: SEOPS was acquired by Hypergiant, a US-based industrial AI enterprise. SEOPS became part of the Hypergiant Galactic Systems division, focusing on AI-driven solutions for the space industry.
- 2020: A collaboration with SpaceX enabled launches using their Falcon 9 rocket as part of the SmallSat Rideshare Program, leveraging SEOPS’ Equalizer Deployment System.
