Teledyne Paradise Datacom Dual IF/L-Band Satellite Modem QFlex-400

The Teledyne Paradise Datacom QFlex-400 software-defined satellite modem, a variant of our flagship Q-Flex, is Teledyne Paradise Datacom’s highest data-rate modem. Compared to the standard Q-Flex, it supports much higher data rates, an extended frequency range, better RF performance, improved carrier cancellation, more headroom for future upgrades and lower power consumption.

It is ideal as a versatile point-to-point network modem or a remote modem in a point-to- multipoint network. It is fully compatible with Teledyne Paradise Datacom’s Q-NET satellite network solution and is a drop-in replacement for the Q-Flex/Q-Lite.

Advanced Bandwidth-Efficient features

The QFlex-400 modem supports the most powerful bandwidth-saving technology available. DVB-S2X, is between 20% and 60% more bandwidth efficient than its predecessor, DVB-S2. Paired Carrier+ is Teledyne Paradise Datacom’s enhanced carrier overlap technology that allows Tx and Rx carriers to occupy the same space segment.

XStream IP bandwidth-saving IP-features include ACM, acceleration and header and pay- load compression.
