Skybrokers de-installed an Andrew 7.6m Earth Station Antenna at former Transat in Sofia, Bulgaria
In August 2024 we received another request to disassemble and remove an Andrew 7.6m Earth Station Antenna at the former Transat site in Sofia, Bulgaria. The project was planned in October with a three-member project and installation team. The antenna was dismantled and properly packed for transportation to our centralized Antenna facility in The Netherlands and will be touched up and checked out prior to sale.
Transat JSC. deployed and maintained satellite VSAT networks to support the communications needs of corporations and government entities in over 45 countries in Europe, North Africa, Asia and the Middle-East. Transat provided communication services and connectivity for corporate data applications, retail and POS systems, ATM’s and Lotto services etc. The company filed for bankruptcy in 2015.
