Skybrokers delivered four used Andrew 3.7m Satellite Antennas to Satellite Broadcaster FreeSat in Sri Lanka. The antennas were prepped at our facility in Europe and loaded into a 40ft container for overseas transportation in October 2022. The customer was responsible for the installation of the antennas at the Liberty Range Teleport (LRT) in Colombo.
FreeSat is a Digital Satellite Television Broadcasting Service licensed by the Ministry of Mass Media and Telecommunication Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka and is owned by Union Network International Pvt Ltd. The company will provide the long-awaited Digital Television to every household in Sri Lanka at no cost by using the latest DVB-S2 technology thru the SES-12 satellite at 95° East.
