Two refurbished 9m Earth Station Antennas installed at satellite operator Hellas-Sat in Cyprus

In November 2024 Skybrokers was awarded a contract for the provisioning of two refurbished 9m Earth Station Antennas to long-time customer Hellas-Sat satellite operator in Cyprus. The project contained the delivery of two pre-owned VertexRSI 9m Earth Station Antennas with a new MCU/Tracking System and RF Chain. A four-member project and installation team finished this large project in November 2025.

Hellas-Sat Satellite Operator is a premium satellite communications solutions provider founded in 2001. The company owns and operates a highly secured Satellite Space Center in Cyprus, a site on the border of three continents: Europe, Africa and Asia (the Middle East). The facility seamlessly bridges the satellite constellation with terrestrial networks, ensuring flawless end-to-end connectivity at the peak of exceptional services. It owns and operates the HellasSat-2 satellite and jointly owns the Hellas-Sat 3/Inmarsat S EAN satellite with Inmarsat, and operates a payload on the Hellas-Sat 4/SaudiGeoSat-1 satellite at 39° East owned by Arabsat and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST).

In 2013 Hellas-Sat was acquired by Arabsat, the 6th largest satellite operator in the world. Hellas-Sat satellites are located at 39° East orbital slot offering coverage over the EMEA region.
