AOneSat Communication AG.

AOneSat is a Switzerland-based, emerging space Infrastructure Company that brings world-class experience in the space industry, in international marketing as well as engineering projects. AOneSat’s promoters have worked in the satellite and aerospace industry for over 20 years, primarily in design, manufacture and service of key systems such as telemetry, telecommand, sensors and power units for satellites and launch vehicles. Additionally, the founders have worked with the Russian and French industrial segments for over two decades and are now slowly expanding relationships to the North American Industry.

AOneSat has successfully secured the orbital positioning rights at 48° W and another number of orbital slots. Three satellites are planned to cater for FSS business and negotiations are pending with reputed satellite manufacturers and international satellite operators for building and launching state of the art satellites to provide satellite telecommunications and broadcasting services. Russia-based ISS Reshetnev signed a contract for the delivery of the AOneSat-1 telecommunications satellite.

AOneSat has access to a range of telecom companies and media broadcasters with interest in additional satellite capacity in growing and matured markets to meet the burgeoning requirements or to replace their ageing satellites.

The Company is in discussions with large fleet satellite operators who are showing interest to be its potential partners or preferred customers through whom AOneSat will bring its transponder capacity to the market.

The AOneSat-1 telecommunications spacecraft will be built by ISS-Reshetnev around its middle-class Ekspress-1000N satellite platform. The satellite manufacturer will also be responsible for in-orbit delivery.

AOneSat later announced, that they are re-signing this agreement to reconfigure the satellite in order to better reflect changing price and service models. The bid is down to two suppliers, which will eventually narrow down to one. In the meantime, AOneSat is seeking to purchase an interim satellite to build revenue streams before its own satellites are positioned.

AOneSat Communication AG, Switzerland was established in 2009 to meet the growing demand of satellite broadcast and telecommunications service providers in different parts of the globe.

AOneSat is promoted by Inden Group AG, (Switzerland) and Ananth Technologies, Ltd. (India) and has definitive plans for an initial fleet of three satellites to be deployed starting from 2014. These high power satellites operating in C-, Ku- and Ka-band are designed to cover parts of South and North Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East and South Asia. The communications and TV broadcasting spacecrafts are expected to be launched in 2016 and carry out its mission in orbit for 15 years.

Hyderabad-based space entrepreneur Subba Rao Pavuluri was a hardened space entrepreneur. He was a former employee of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the government's primary space agency, and had set up two companies in 1992. One was to sell value-added remote sensing data, and the other, Ananth Technologies, Ltd. (ATL), to develop avionics for ISRO launch vehicles.

Pavuluri took the first steps towards becoming an international satellite operator, by signing a 300 million USD deal with Russian company Reshetnev Information Satellite Systems (ISS Reshetnev).

In 2011, Pavuluri set up one more firm, AOneSat Communications AG, as a joint venture with the Swiss group INDEN. Ananth Technologies participated closely in the moon and mars missions of ISRO by building satellite components. It is now a large company with 1,200 employees, 400 engineers and sophisticated facilities for space engineering.

Satellite Fleet

AOneSat has definite plans for an initial fleet of three satellites to be deployed in the period 2016-2017. These high power satellites operating in C, Ku and Ka-bands are designed to cover parts of South and North Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, South Asia from well-coordinated orbital locations.

The field of view from the well positioned orbital locations enable AOneSat to provide coverage with good elevation angles and customize the coverage, power and connectivity requirements of specific anchor tenants in different regions.

A Total of 120 transponders in C-, Ku-, & Ka-Band is planned to be placed in 3 satellites in orbit. There is an option available for a 4th satellite.
