Skybrokers relocated three Earth Station Antennas for NOVA Telecommunications in Greece
Skybrokers was requested to assist with the relocation of three Earth Station Antennas from the Teleport in Kantza to the new location in Avlonas Attica for NOVA. With a strict deadline our team removed two Vertex 4.8m antennas and a Vertex 7.2m antenna with associated equipment shelters and RF chain. Antennas were taken down and transported using cranes and flatbed trucks. Critical parts were packed properly in crates and stored in a temporary warehouse. A complex project with a lot of logistics and hands-on activities, executed in September 2022. The re-installation of the antennas and shelters was done in Q2 2023.
NOVA is a Greek Telco and media company providing broadband internet, Pay-TV and fixed telephony. The company was known as ForthNet and rebranded NOVA when it was acquired in 2020 by the United Group, a leading multi-media provider is South-East Europe.
