RSCC’s Express-AM8 was launched on September 14, 2015 by launch operator ILS on a Proton M rocket.
The satellite was designed by ISS Reshetnev Company in cooperation with Thales Alenia Space and provide coverage over Africa, Middle-East and Russia regions in C-band and Ku-band and South America in C-band.
