Skybrokers de-installed a VertexRSI 6.1m Earth Station Antenna for IDB Systems Poznan in Poland.
In April 2017 we were requested to remove a VertexRSI 6.1m Satellite Antenna from ground level at Computer Systems Design company IDB Polska SP. Z.O.O. in Poland. With a local team of technicians, we took the antenna down and dismantled in transportable parts to our facility in Central Europe for further refurbishment. In 2019, the antenna found a new home in Lima Peru.
IDB Systems Polska Sp. z o.o. operates in the Computer Systems Design and Related Services industry. The company (aka Industrial Development Bangor) is privately held, supplies a wide range of high technology electronic equipment and services which include embedded computer boards and systems. IDB Systems serves industries like energy, oil & gas, water, consumer packaged goods, government & defense, and telecommunications.
- VertexRSI 6.1m Antenna to be dismantled.
- Antenna had full reflector de-icing..
- ..and a motorized Pedestal Mount.
- Pedestal Mount with platform & ladder.
- The feed covers were removed.
- Antenna jacks were tested in AZ & EL.
- Outdoor MCU was tested.
- De-icing cabinet was tested.
- Antenna included LNA system and Pol. drive.
- The Team started with removing de-icing panels..
- ..and worked their way to the edge.
- The last de-icing panels were removed.
- Reflector de-icing was removed.
- The last de-icing panels were removed.
- Reflector panels were marked.
- Panels were removed ‘in the air’.
- All panels removed from back frame.
- Backframe removed.
