Company History
WORK Microwave was established in 1986 and was originally focused on a series of research projects and product design on behalf of other industry players. WORK’s initial strength involved creating clean clock sources. Key product areas included oscillators, synthesizers, and IF and RF frequency converter modules.
In 1992 the company expanded into design, manufacturing and distribution of its own product lines for OEM applications. During this time period, RF signal generators were added to WORK Microwave’s portfolio.
In 1995 the Defense Electronic modules became a specialty of the company. A few years later microwave sensors were introduced.
The new millennium ushered in an exciting growth period for WORK Microwave. With the start of the digital era, the company launched digital RF solutions, developing a comprehensive range of video and network devices.
Round 2005, after gaining expertise in the development of modulators, WORK Microwave designed the Multi-GNSS Laboratory RF Navigation Constellation Simulator (NCS).
Approaching 2010, the navigation market exploded with the introduction of GPS, Galileo, WAAS, and GLONASS. The satcom industry also experienced a flurry of activity with the launch of the Ka-band.
